The Pirates' pre-season fitness regime is in full swing and Duffy insists training is hard, both physically and mentally. "The only thing that gets you through it is that you need it to be up to speed for the season so, as much as you hate it, you know you have to do it," he told the club's official website. "As soon as this week is over, which is the main fitness week, we will be undertaking a lot more football I'm sure, and we can look forward to the pre-season games. "The boys would rather play games than train continuously, because that's where you get your match fitness from. "At the moment we are at the first stage where we can build the fitness levels up before we concentrate on the football."
