The 24-year-old academy graduate has been in fine form for the Pirates this season, scoring six goals from midfield and catching the eye of potential suitors with his performances.[LNB]But director of football Lawrence is preparing to offer Lines a new contract to remain at the Memorial Ground, believing that is the best way for him to fulfil his potential.[LNB]"I am looking to make him and his agent an offer, maybe this week, certainly next week," he told his club's official website. "I would like to get it sorted from January.[LNB]"I hope that the boy will stay, because we have invested a lot of time and effort in him. We were patient and he became a good player.[LNB]"He has the potential to be a Championship player, but if he moves to the wrong club at the wrong time he could lose momentum. He needs to stay with us for the next 18 months and then, if we are not in the Championship, he should be looking to do it."[LNB][LNB]
