Rovers boss targets late surge

Inconsistency has cost the Pirates in their bid to finish in the top six, but Saturday's 3-0 derby win at Yeovil has raised hopes that they can still claw back the likes of Colchester, Huddersfield and the MK Dons.[LNB]Rovers have no midweek fixture and Trollope insists his players must take advantage and ensure they are fully focused on Saturday's home game against struggling Southend.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "It is important we have a really focused week. We want to put pressure on the teams above us, we want to put pressure on ourselves to close the gap as quickly as we can - one result shows how quickly things can change.[LNB]"We were frustrated with only getting one point from the previous two games, but that three points (at Yeovil) and Colchester losing has straight away closed the gap and if that happens again at the weekend, the league table can look different quickly.[LNB]"We still believe we can win a lot of games, we have still got a positivity and we have to maintain a real good focus this week and make sure we produce that level we saw at Yeovil more often than not."[LNB][LNB]
