Pirates do battle without Hoskins

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope will once again be without Will Hoskins for the visit of Leyton Orient. Hoskins missed the 6-3 win over Wycombe in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy after he strechered off in the FA Cup defeat to Darlington and it was first feared the striker had suffered ankle ligament damage. But scans in midweek revealed he has a badly sprained ankle and will be out for a minimum of four weeks. John Akinde will face a late fitness test after he limped out of Tuesday's game while Charlie Reece was named on the team-sheet for the game at Adams Park but pulled out before kick-off after injuring his back in the warm-up and is doubtful. Ben Swallow staked his claim for a first-team place with a goal in midweek and Stuart Campbell returned in midfield after injury and will keep his place if he suffers no recurrence of a thigh problem.
