Pirates boss happy with his squad

The Pirates, who still harbour slim hopes of gatecrashing the League One play-offs, have some injury problems going into the final furlong of the season. Danny Coles remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury, while Joe Jacobson is back from a long lay-off but took a knock against Peterborough on Saturday and Ryan Green and Craig Hinton are both struggling with knee problems. But Trollope believes that he does not need to bring in any new players before the deadline for emergency loan deals at 5pm on Thursday. "As things stand we are not going to be doing any business," said Trollope. "Ryan Green will be back with us shortly so we don't need to cover that and Craig Hinton's ongoing issue with his patella tendonitis is being managed so there is no burning rush to get anyone in. "Craig Hinton is resting and missing some of the training days and then training lightly at times to keep him ticking along. We will need him sooner or later. We feel we will need to keep him fit enough to play but also giving him the rest his knee needs."
