Lawrence is confident that if Paul Trollope's side start the campaign well and stay injury free they can be in the promotion shake-up at the end of May, although he concedes the third tier of English football will be fiercely contested this term. He told the club's official website: "On paper it looks the hardest league of all time, because you have six or seven big, big clubs like Southampton, Norwich and Charlton. "Huddersfield have spent money for fun and Brighton have had a go at it as well. Also, you have Millwall, MK Dons and Leeds, although there is not quite the strength coming up that there was the season before last. "Basically, on paper, there is a top six or seven, probably a handful at the bottom who are going to be happy to stay in the league, and a great swathe in the middle who are thinking to themselves that a good start and some luck with injuries could put them in contention. We are in that group."
