The 27-year-old's hat-trick as captain in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Hereford took him past his previous personal best of 22 goals while with Rochdale in 2005-06. Lambert is now 11 goals behind the club record held by Geoff Bradford, who netted 33 goals during the 1952-53 season. He told the Bristol Evening Post: "I just want to score as many as I can and if the lads keep playing the way they are and setting me up, hopefully I can get a few more. "The fact I've got so many is down to them and the way they are playing. "The club record is not on my mind at the moment - although if I get closer it probably will be."
