Lescott relishing Terriers test

Town are only one point ahead of the Pirates in the embryonic League One table but despite Rovers' promising start, Huddersfield have hogged the headlines so far, scoring 15 goals in their opening four games of the season. However, Lescott believes Rovers' open style of play will give his side a chance when the pair meet at the Memorial Stadium. "We know Huddersfield will come to our ground looking for three points," he told the Bristol Evening Post. "That could suit us because it means they will attack and hopefully we can exploit the space behind their defence." Lescott also feels his side are coping well with the loss of star striker Rickie Lambert following his move to Southampton. "Jo (Kuffour) and Darryl (Duffy) played really well together when Rickie Lambert was injured for a couple of games last season," he added. "No disrespect to Rickie, but those two give us more movement in the team."
