Hoskins Will get better - Trollope

Manager Paul Trollope believes Bristol Rovers are yet to see the best of Will Hoskins despite his excellent start to the season. The 24-year-old, who signed on a free transfer from Watford in the summer, has netted five goals in 10 league matches this season, much to the delight of Trollope. "We knew the quality we were getting when we brought Will to the club," Trollope told the Bristol Evening Post. "He wasn't playing regularly at Watford and had a stop-start two years. "When I looked him in the eye over the summer, I was very keen to get him into the club because you could tell he was a very driven young man who has a lot of confidence in himself. "He's a leader on the pitch and although he gets frustrated sometimes if things aren't going right, he has all the attributes of a player from a higher level. His goals return for us is good so far, but from our point of view - and probably his as well - he's still getting used to playing week in, week out. "I think he can go from strength to strength and his understanding with Jo Kuffour and John Akinde is growing. Hopefully that will only get better the more they play together and Will can benefit from it."
