Hoskins blow for Rovers

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope will be without Will Hoskins for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy trip to Wycombe. Hoskins, who scored in the 2-1 FA Cup defeat to Conference side Darlington at the weekend, was also stretchered off midway through the first-half. The early signs suggest Hoskins has suffered ankle ligament damage and could be out for a few weeks with on-loan Bristol City striker John Akinde likely to get the nod up front. Trollope is hoping skipper Stuart Campbell comes through training OK to have any chance of making the squad for the trip to Adams Park while on-loan goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen is likely to come back into the team after parent club Reading blocked him from playing in the FA Cup. Dominic Blizzard has been left out of the Pirates' squad for the last two games with Trollope suggesting the midfielder can be made available for a loan move away from the Memorial Stadium.
