Heffernan weighing up options - Agent

16 February 2010 01:31
Heffernan is currently on a month's loan at Bristol Rovers after finding first-team opportunities limited at Doncaster and he looks set to become a free agent in the summer with his contract due to expire.

The news has alerted a number of clubs to Heffernan's possible availability and the 28-year-old's agent admits the striker is keeping his options open.

"Sean O'Driscoll has been brilliant in allowing Paul to go out on loan as he understands his need to play first-team football even though he is coming to the end of his contract," Hart told Sky Sports' website.

"Of course if Doncaster want to sit down and discuss a new deal we would be delighted to speak to them.

"As Paul is a free agent in the summer he is also willing to see what other options are out there for him.

"He is enjoying his loan spell at Bristol Rovers and his display against Charlton reminded people of his talent."
