Haldane has kept training with Vale since his initial three-month agreement expired on December 1 and a permanent switch was believed to be in the reckoning as he attempted to agree a severance deal with Rovers.[LNB]It was initially revealed on Thursday that a new short-term loan deal had been struck, which was understood to be a stop-gap measure until something could be agreed at the Memorial Stadium.[LNB]But more details have now been released and a permanent transfer looks to have been put on hold for the time being at least as he has linked up with Vale on loan until June.[LNB]Rigg, meanwhile, also saw his loan deal at Vale Park expire at the weekend and manager Micky Adams plans to speak to Rovers in the coming days to hopefully tie up an extension.[LNB][LNB]
