Ex-Rovers chief has heart attack

The former chairman of Bristol Rovers Football Club remains in hospital after suffering a heart attack.Ron Craig spent the weekend in the intensive care unit at Frenchay Hospital and is showing slight signs of recovery, the club's website reported.Mr Craig joined the Pirates in the mid 1980s before taking over as chairman in April 2007.He stepped down in 2008 when Nick Higgs took over, but remains on the board of directors of the club."The thoughts and best wishes of everyone at Bristol Rovers are with Ron and his wife at this difficult time," a club spokesman said.
