Duffy targets Kuffour partnership

The prolific Lambert joined Southampton on Monday for a fee in excess of £1million, which gave Duffy the chance to start alongside Kuffour in the Carling Cup game against Aldershot on Tuesday night. And the former Swansea frontman took his chance by scoring both goals in a 2-1 victory to set up a second round tie at Cardiff. Duffy told the Bristol Evening Post: "I hope it means Jo and I can get in a good run of games and build a partnership together. We did it to good effect when Rickie was injured last year, so hopefully we can build on that. "We are the two senior strikers at the club now and the ones behind us are mainly kids, so the onus is on us to get the goals and perform well."
