Options aplenty for Ward

Bristol Rovers manager John Ward has plenty of options for the clash with Wycombe.

Winger Alex Henshall arrived from Manchester City on Thursday along with Birmingham loanee Will Packwood and both players are available to make their debuts against the Chairboys.

Ellis Harrison and Seanan Clucas are also available having returned from international duty while Lee Brown could be in contention. There were fears his hamstring injury could be a long-term one but after treatment and light training, Ward hopes he can return this weekend.

Rovers head into the match looking for their first victory since August but they have drawn three of their last four matches.

Wycombe's players look to have shaken off a sickness bug ahead of the trip.

Four players were ruled out of Saturday's win over Torquay with striker Jo Kuffour playing despite being under the weather and manager Gareth Ainsworth cancelled Monday's training session to give his squad time to recover.

And his plan seems to have worked with Leon Johnson the only injury absentee with a knee problem.

Strikers Dean Morgan (leg) and Steven Craig (virus) hope to be involved against Rovers after both returned to full training on Thursday which will hand Ainsworth a real boost as they look for a third straight win.
