In-form Rovers have no new concerns

Bristol Rovers manager John Ward has no fresh injury worries as his side look to make it six games unbeaten when they welcome Wycombe.

The Pirates ran out 2-0 winners at Oxford last time out to move five points clear of the npower League Two relegation zone.

Elliot Richards stepped off the bench to grab a vital second at the Kassam and he is set to be involved again, while fellow forward David Clarkson made his third successive appearance since returning from injury.

Rovers are still without a number of long-term absentees including goalkeeper Scott Bevan, captain Matt Gill and the likes of Adam Virgo and Matt Harrold.

Wycombe ran out 2-0 winners when the sides last met back in December before the change in management at Rovers.

Wycombe midfielder Josh Scowen will miss the trip after becoming the second player in the division to reach 10 yellow cards this season.

The 19-year-old will serve the first game of his two-match ban against the Pirates and manager Gareth Ainsworth is putting a positive spin on his absence, believing the all-action midfielder will come back fresh after a 10-day break.

Meanwhile, QPR loanee Bruno Andrade will be assessed in the next few days after being withdrawn with an ankle injury in Tuesday's defeat to Bradford.

Andrade sustained the problem not long after replacing Matt McClure in the 69th minute following a challenge by Andrew Davies.

Ainsworth believes he may have strained ankle ligaments but he will be assessed before the clash.

Young defender Kortney Hause was not involved on Tuesday with a knock while Gary Doherty is back in full training.
