Jake Clarke-Salter and Lee Mansell could return for Bristol Rovers

Jake Clarke-Salter and Lee Mansell will both hope to feature in the Bristol Rovers squad to face Port Vale.

Both were in contention for the midweek victory over Swindon after returning to training following injuries that have delayed their starts to the season.

Jermaine Easter was instrumental in both goals after coming on as a substitute at the County Ground and will hope to force his way into the starting line-up.

Tuesday's victory was Rovers' first for two months and made it five matches unbeaten in League One.

Port Vale boss Bruno Ribeiro could be tempted to shuffle his side as they go in search of their first away win of the season.

Rigino Cicilia scored and impressed in the midweek Central League Cup win over Morecambe and could come into contention for a starting place.

Gezim Shalaj will also hope to start after playing his part in Vale's come-from-behind win over Gillingham last week, when his initial shot led to the opener for Remi Streete.

Ribeiro will hope to have no fresh injury worries for the trip as his side seek to maintain their fine start to the new campaign.
