Pirates without Anyinsah
Bristol Rovers are set to be without Joe Anyinsah against Port Vale as they look to bounce back from a "lethargic" defeat to Chesterfield.
John Ward's men were "a little dull" according to their manager as they lost 2-0 to the Spireites and former Charlton winger Anyinsah had to be withdrawn at half-time with an on-going hamstring problem.
The issue, that saw him miss the 2-0 win over Exeter in midweek, means he is a doubt for the clash with Micky Adams' men at The Memorial Stadium.
Fabian Broghammer replaced Anyinsah at the break and he could be handed a start while Ellis Harrison is pushing for a recall.
Rovers are eight points above the npower League Two relegation zone.
Ryan Burge will rejoin the Port Vale squad.
Burge has missed the last two games with a virus but the midfielder is now over the bug and will return to contention on Tuesday night.
With skipper Doug Loft serving the second game of a three-match suspension and left-back Dan Jones set to stay on the sidelines with a knee problem, Burge's inclusion will be the only change to the squad.
Vale are without a win in four league outings, losing three, and manager Micky Adams is expecting a response from his players.
He said: "It has got to the point now where we have to kick back into action and I think we'll get a reaction.
"I've no negative thoughts in my mind about trying to nick a point and steady the ship. We'll be bold and try to win the game, like we always do."
