Harrold set to return
Bristol Rovers are hopeful that Matt Harrold will return to action against in-form Plymouth.
The former Wycombe striker has not featured since February 1 due to a knee injury but manager John Ward hopes to have him back in his matchday squad against the Pilgrims.
Fellow forward Steven Gillespie has been impressing Ward with his substitute appearances in recent weeks and will hope to be in contention for a starting role while midfielder John-Joe O'Toole will be in his manager's XI despite being just one booking away from a suspension.
Fabian Broghammer is making good progress in his recovery from ruptured knee ligaments and could return in a month.
Plymouth boss John Sheridan has no fresh injury worries.
The Pilgrims, who will be backed by 1,400 away fans, travel in a buoyant mood having climbed to within four points of the play-off spots in Sky Bet League Two thanks to just one loss in their last seven matches.
Goalkeeper Luke McCormick remains sidelined with a finger injury which could end his season and winger Jason Banton is two weeks away from a return having sustained a groin injury against Dagenham last month but there are no new pre-match worries for boss John Sheridan.
Striker Reuben Reid, who scored the only goal when the sides met earlier this season, looks set to keep his place in attack for the in-form Pilgrims.
