Kelle Roos set to retain place for Bristol Rovers

Kelle Roos is poised to keep his place in goal for Bristol Rovers for their home Sky Bet League One clash with Fleetwood despite some costly blunders of late.

Dutch goalkeeper Roos, signed on a season-long loan from Derby, was punished for mistakes in the recent 3-3 draw at MK Dons and Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Peterborough.

But back-up goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall was due to see a specialist on Monday over a persistent knee problem, and third-choice Will Puddy was also injured in the final weeks of a loan spell at Braintree.

Defender Peter Hartley and midfielder Hiram Boateng should come back into contention as Rovers seek to return to the play-off places they dropped out of on Saturday.

Fleetwood manager Uwe Rosler is expected to name the same starting XI as they travel to the Memorial Stadium.

The Cod Army beat Gillingham 2-1 on Saturday and are now 10th in the table.

Rosler has no fresh injury or suspension concerns but Ash Hunter who came off the bench to score the winning goal at the weekend will be pushing for a start.

Aaron Amadi-Holloway remains on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.
