Richards worry for Rovers

Bristol Rovers striker Eliot Richards is John Ward's only question mark for the Friday night clash with Barnet.

The 21-year-old, who has scored twice in his last five appearances, is a slight doubt but the club hope he will take part in training and still be in contention as Rovers look for their third consecutive victory.

Midfielder Jim Paterson is sidelined with a hamstring complaint while John-Joe O'Toole is expected to keep his place in the starting line-up after his loan from Colchester was extended until April.

The 3-1 victory at Rotherham was the last match of his initial one-month stay but Rovers have prolonged the deal for the maximum period possible for an emergency loan.

Scottish striker David Clarkson made his comeback from injury after a month on the sidelines against the Millers and he is set to be involved again.

Ellis Harrison is likely to be in the matchday squad after scoring a memorable goal on only his second senior appearance.

Edgar Davids is back for Barnet.

The Bees' player-boss missed last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Burton with a virus but is fit again and set to start in midfield.

Jake Hyde also returns to the squad after he sat out against Albion with a groin strain, while fellow striker Jon Nurse is available after a three-match ban.

Another forward, Harry Crawford, impressed as a late substitute at Burton following his switch from non-league Dartford so he is pushing for a full debut.

But Steve Kabba (knee) and Ishmail Kamara (shoulder) are still out injured while fellow forward Collins John has left Underhill following an injury-hit spell in which he managed just two appearances.
