Ollie Clarke available for Bristol Rovers' clash with Accrington

Ollie Clarke is available for Bristol Rovers' Sky Bet League Two home game against Accrington after winning his red card appeal.

Midfielder Clarke was sent off in last weekend's 1-0 home defeat to Oxford after challenging Danny Rose for a header, but the Football Association rescinded the red card after Rovers had lodged an appeal against the dismissal.

Lee Mansell emerged unscathed from his first appearance of the season on Sunday after calf trouble and is set to feature again as the Pirates seek to bounce back from successive league defeats.

Billy Bodin and Cristian Montano both stepped up their fitness in Rovers' Challenge Cup game at Cirencester in midweek and are expected to be among the substitutes.

Accrington manager John Coleman is hoping his side can find their shooting boots ahead of the trip to the Memorial Stadium.

Stanley are mid-table having won and lost once and drawn four matches so far and they have only managed to find the back of the net four times this season.

After last weekend's goalless draw at Portsmouth, Coleman said: "We need to start winning more games. We've only won one and that's a concern, the big problem we had last year in conceding we've addressed, now we need to marry that up with scoring goals."

Shay McCartan will return to contention after international duty with Northern Ireland's Under-21s, but Joe Wright (knee) will be out for a couple of weeks after picking up an injury with Wales' U21s.
