Bristol Rovers continued their revival under Mark McGhee as they recorded a third straight win with a 2-1 triumph at home to Morecambe.
Lee Brown tapped in at the far post just prior to the hour mark after Scott McGleish had touched on a driven cross from the right by substitute Eliot Richards.
And McGleish himself made sure of maximum points from three games under McGhee's management by rifling home a 75th-minute penalty after a needless shirt tug by Shrimps substitute Danny Carlton on Rovers replacement Matthew Lund.
Rovers survived a late scare when another Morecambe sub Kevin Ellison found the roof of the net after Jordan Burrow's shot had been saved.
And in injury time goalkeeper Michael Poke was forced to tip over an Ellison volley to preserve his side's narrow lead.
Both teams hit the woodwork during a poor first half. Morecambe striker Phil Jevons clipped the ball over the advancing Poke only to see it bounce against a post.
And Rovers frontman McGleish rattled an upright with a glancing header from Brown's free-kick.
