Blizzard stakes Rovers claim

A young Rovers side lost the game 5-2 against the Welsh outfit, but after missing much of pre-season through illness, Blizzard's involvement was a positive for head of youth Darren Patterson, who took charge of the team. "We started poorly and conceded a goal. James Tyrell was stretched off early on with what looked like a nasty injury, but thankfully it was just a knock," Patterson told the club's official website. "I have sympathy for Rhys Evans who did not deserve to concede so many goals. "The positives were that Dominic Blizzard got through 45 minutes and others got some much needed minutes under their belts."
