The midfielder picked up a virus soon after his switch from Stockport earlier this summer and was unable to get a full pre-season under his belt. Blizzard, 23, played the full 90 minutes for the first time in the Pirates' Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Hereford on Tuesday night, but admits he is still not 100% fit. He told the Bristol Evening Post: "With more games and training under my belt I am more than confident that I will finally show exactly what I am capable of. "I still don't feel fully up to speed because I was tiring towards the end of the Hereford game. I haven't got full match sharpness yet, but I feel like I'm moving in the right direction on that front."
