Blizzard, 23, played the full 90 minutes for the first time in the Pirates' Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Hereford on Tuesday night, but admits he is still not 100% fit.
He told the Bristol Evening Post: "With more games and training under my belt I am more than confident that I will finally show exactly what I am capable of.
"I still don't feel fully up to speed because I was tiring towards the end of the Hereford game. I haven't got full match sharpness yet, but I feel like I'm moving in the right direction on that front."
