Wycombe sign Akinde in loan deal
The striker was signed from Blue Square Premier side Ebbsfleet last August but has failed to make an impact at Ashton Gate, scoring just once.
Wanderers boss Peter Taylor told the club's official website: "I know there were a bundle of Football League clubs looking to sign him on loan and I really appreciate Bristol City and Gary Johnson allowing John to join us.
"I've seen him play on numerous occasions, he's still new to the game but has tremendous potential.
"He's here for a month and during that time I hope he can help us and we can help him."
