Williams lands Bristol City trial

Former Peterborough defender Tom Williams has been handed a trial by Bristol City.The out-of-contract left back, who spent last season on loan with Preston, will be on the bench for City's friendly at Torquay on Wednesday. [LNB]Williams, 30, started his professional career at West Ham and has played internationally for Cyprus. [LNB]City manager Steve Coppell said: "He'll get the chance to impress over the next couple of games." [LNB]The club have ended their trial with former Barnet striker John O'Flynn who accompanied the side on their tour of Sweden.
