Weale waits on City decision

Robins boss Gary Johnson is waiting to see if regular keeper Adriano Basso will recover from the ankle injury he sustained against Ipswich in time for Saturday's trip to Swansea. If the Brazilian is not fit, then 20-year-old Stephen Henderson would be the only recognised available keeper at Ashton Gate. Weale rejoined Yeovil a month ago but City inserted a 24-hour recall clause in the deal for such an eventuality. "We will give Adriano until tomorrow (Friday) to prove his fitness and if he is okay, he plays," Johnson told the club's official website. "If he's not okay, then we will recall Chris Weale from Yeovil and he will play and Stephen Henderson will be on the bench. "I have spoken to (Yeovil manager) Terry Skiverton and he is aware of the situation. But we will see how Adriano is - he seems to think he will be okay."
