Weale move suits everyone - Johnson
The 27-year-old goalkeeper, whose three seasons at Ashton Gate were blighted by injury, has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Foxes and is set to officially join them on July 1. He made only 14 appearances for the Robins following his arrival from Yeovil.
Johnson told the Bristol Evening Post: "Chris felt his first-team opportunities were limited here, with the form of (Adriano) Basso, and he needed to go somewhere to get games.
"Chris was never really able to show the fans here what he was about due to the injuries.
"He came here with a cruciate knee which lasted 12 months, then he had problems with his back and more recently he's broken his wrist and thumb."
