The 32-year-old made 146 appearances for the Swans during a four-year stay in which he scored 78 goals before joining Bristol City. But he now finds himself out of favour at Ashton Gate after being told to find a new club by manager Gary Johnson, with Swansea at the top of his list of potential destinations. "If I could pick any club to join, Swansea would be my first choice," Trundle told the South Wales Evening Post. "Everyone knows that Swansea is where I had the best spell of my career and coming back would be my first choice now. "If Swansea were in for me, I would come back tomorrow."
