Styvar set for Robins departure
The 28-year-old will link up with the club on July 1 in a move that could see him sign permanently in either the January or summer transfer window in 2010.
"Unfortunately Peter and his family have not settled in the UK," City chief executive Colin Sexstone told the club's official website.
"Peter needs to be playing games and this loan move gives him that opportunity. Skoda Xanthi also have the option to take him permanently for a fee that will largely recoup the money we paid out for him."
Slovakian Styvar arrived at Ashton Gate from MSK Zilina in January. He made four starts and eight substitute appearances for Gary Johnson's side.
