The 32-year-old Liverpudlian has fallen down the pecking order following the arrivals of Danny Haynes and David Clarkson this summer and boss Gary Johnson has confirmed Trundle does not feature in his plans. "The situation with Lee Trundle is he probably needs to be looking elsewhere. If he wants to be playing first-team football this season, and I would like to think he does, then it will have to be somewhere else." said Johnson. "Unfortunately for him, he is not near the 20 or so first-team players at this moment in time. There are a few reasons why he's put himself too far down the pecking order but I don't want to go into that again." Johnson added: "We need to help him find another club. We're prepared to do a loan or even a loan with a view to a permanent move. "If someone wants to buy him, then we're fine with that as well."
