Strike duo set to face Bluebirds
City boss Gary Johnson will not be able to call upon the services of Lithuania striker Andrius Velicka for the match after he suffered knee ligament damage five minutes into his debut against QPR on Tuesday and he has returned to Rangers, bringing to an end his season-long loan.
That means that Maynard and Haynes should start up front, although John Akinde and David Clarkson will be hopeful of forcing their way into Johnson's plans.
Louis Carey could make his return from injury after sitting out the win over QPR and last weekend's victory over Crystal Palace with a calf injury.
The Robins are unbeaten so far this season, with an opening day draw at Preston preceding their two wins in the last week.
The match kicks off at 1.15pm.
