Spence recall confirmed
On-loan defender Jordan Spence has returned to West Ham, Bristol City have confirmed.
Injuries to Matthew Upson and James Tomkins ahead of the Hammers' clash against Barclays Premier League relegation rivals Blackburn on Saturday have forced boss Avram Grant into recalling Spence via the 24-hour clause in his loan agreement.
"I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Bristol City. It was a lovely city with great people. Thanks to everyone for their support," Spence told the club`s official website.
Spence, 20, played 11 games during his loan spell at Ashton Gate.
