Skuse hails City's home form

The Robins are unbeaten in 18 league games at Ashton Gate - a run that stretches back to a 2-1 defeat to Burnley last December - with their form pushing them into the Championship play-off places.

An inconsistent Wednesday outfit are the next visitors and Skuse would like to see them become the latest side to leave empty-handed.

"We've had a really good run lately and we have made it a bit of a fortress down here," he told Press Association Sport.

"I think that the fans play a huge part in that, it's a really hard place for teams to come. We seem to have become very hard to break down at home.

"We don't really know what we're going to get with Sheffield Wednesday after their heavy defeat last weekend but we're expecting a hard game and will need to be on our guard."
