Robins to offer Adebola another year
The 33-year-old, who was the subject of a bid from Championship rivals Nottingham Forest at the weekend, will see his current deal expire in the summer.[LNB]But Johnson insists the former Birmingham, Crystal Palace and Coventry striker remains an integral part of City's squad and he plans to open negotiations in the near future.[LNB]"We didn't want to let Dele go (to Forest). His contract is up at the end of the season but we want to give him another year," said Johnson.[LNB]"We hope to discuss a new contract with him and his representatives soon."[LNB][LNB]
