Robins to assess trio

Bristol City are waiting on the fitness of defenders Liam Fontaine and Steven Caulker and midfielder Kalifa Cisse ahead of the trip to Norwich. Fontaine is nursing a sore ankle following the midweek victory over Portsmouth, while Cisse had stitches in a cut on his heel at half-time against Pompey but managed to complete the game. A bruised hip ruled out on-loan centre-half Caulker on Tuesday night. He has been receiving treatment at parent club Tottenham but is expected to be fit. Already without long-term casualties Louis Carey (skull fracture), Jamie McAllister (rib fracture), Cole Skuse and Jon Stead, manager Keith Millen will be hoping Fontaine and Cisse also make it. Of the long-term injured, striker Stead is expected to be back in training within two weeks while midfielder Skuse will have an x-ray on Monday to check on his toe fracture.
