Robins line up Ajax friendly
The Dutch side, now managed by former Tottenham boss Martin Jol, will travel to Ashton Gate to take on the Robins on Wednesday July 15.
Manager Gary Johnson told the club's official website: "It shows just how far we have come as a club that a team like Ajax are happy to come to Ashton Gate as part of their preparations for the new season."
