Robins boss eyes City striker
The former Swansea talisman has been told he has no future by City boss Gary Johnson and Wilson has targeted the Liverpudlian as a potential replacement for Simon Cox.
Wilson told BBC Wiltshire: "Talks are ongoing so we'll have to wait and see if anything can develop, We've had numerous conversations with the club.
"The boy [Trundle] is under contract for another two years, I think, so that is a major stumbling block."
