Robins battered by Helsingborg

Bristol City's pre-season plans took a hit as they were on the wrong end of a 4-0 beating by Swedish side Helsingborg. Steve Coppell's men were playing the second friendly of their Scandinavian tour against a side who are currently five points clear of the Swedish Allsvenskan League. Trialist John O'Flynn did not cover himself in much glory as he missed a first-half penalty, while Jamie McAllister and David Clarkson had efforts ruled out. The Robins continue their tour on Saturday when they face Vallens IF.
