Point pleases Millen

Bristol City boss Keith Millen was deeply unhappy with his team's defending for QPR`s goal but otherwise welcomed four home points in the space of three days following the 1-1 draw against the league leaders. Hoops substitute Patrick Agyemang turned the ball in from close range with six minutes remaining after Matthew Connolly had flicked on Tommy Smith`s low corner. Jon Stead had fired rock bottom City ahead after 16 minutes with a 222-yard shot that crashed in off the underside of the crossbar. "I couldn't be happier with the commitment of the players over two tough games and they deserve a rest this weekend," said Millen, whose side beat Reading 1-0 on Tuesday night. "But the goal we conceded was very poor from our point of view. Connolly has got across his marker to get in a shot and we knew beforehand that Rangers whip in corners from both sides. "It's still been a very good week for us with so many positives to take out of the two matches. We played without fear in both games and could have scored more goals. Rangers could have scored more themselves but I felt my lads put everything they could into the game." Millen added: "It doesn't worry me that we're still bottom of the table because I feel our performances are improving and it's too early to take much notice of league positions."
