Nyatanga has point to prove
The Wales defender has moved to Ashton Gate following a mixed spell with Derby and is looking forward to re-establishing himself as a first-team regular with the Robins.
"Last year I played about 30 games for Derby but it was on and off," he told BBC Sport.
"I didn't get a huge run so I want to get back to playing week in, week out.
"I want to get regular first team appearances. Every year I want to improve as a player - you know that if you keep improving then that's the best you can do."
