Millen won't let season 'drift away'

Millen has already notched up two good results after taking over from Gary Johnson, gaining a point in a 2-2 draw with league leaders Newcastle and a 5-3 win against Barnsley.

He told his club's official website: "The lads are buzzing and we're confident; we have to go to Peterborough and get three points.

"It would be nice to keep a smile on anyone's face. Every win makes the league table look a bit better as well.

"It's important for the club that we keep moving forward and gathering as many points as we can. Financially there's a big incentive as well for the club because money is paid out at the end of the season, staggered, based on where you finish in the table.

"We certainly won't let the season drift away. It's important we keep this good spell going and try to get back-to-back wins."
