Millen wants to tighten up defence
Bristol City boss Keith Millen has urged his side to tighten up at the back after they played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Barnsley.
Andy Gray bagged two goals inside the opening 12 minutes to put the Tykes in control, before Marvin Elliott and Albert Adomah scored to pull City level. Adam Hammill put Barnsley in front once again early in the second half and it took a 62nd-minute penalty from David Clarkson to earn the home side a point.
Millen said: "We have to defend an awful lot better and I have told the players that. I'm not going to pick out individuals, but we were wide open at times.
"In the first 20 minutes we were shocked as a team. At least we showed some spirit after such a bad start, but that won't get us far if we don't tighten up.
"There is a lot of hard work ahead on the training ground.
"At Doncaster in our previous game we looked organised and difficult to break down. But here we were sloppy from the first whistle and have some harsh lessons to learn."
