Millen to keep a close eye on City players

Manager Keith Millen has vowed to keep a close eye on his Bristol City players over the summer. In a departure from previous practice, the City players will not be at liberty to disappear on holiday during the remainder of May and June. Instead, they will be required to come into the club on specific dates prior to the official start of pre-season training. "I want to keep a closer eye on them this time," said Millen, who is planning his first pre-season programme as City boss after succeeding Steve Coppell in mid-August. "They will be coming in from time to time so we can check that they are doing the things they need to be doing to ensure their bodies are in the best condition possible when they come back to work."
