The left-back's solitary cap came in a 4-1 win against Trinidad & Tobago at Hibernian's Easter Road in 2004. He was recalled to the squad after almost four years in the international wilderness but did not see any action in last October's game with Norway and the friendly with Argentina the following month. And the 30-year-old is now eager to add to his international record when George Burley's side travel to group leaders Holland on March 28 before a home game against Iceland at Hampden on April 1. "I'm a proud Scot so it's great to be a part of it all," he told the club's official website. "I expect to be on the bench but hope to be involved at some stage over the next two matches."
