McAllister handed Scotland call-up
The 30-year-old had spent almost four years in the international wilderness before George Burley recalled him to the squad for the Group Nine game against Norway at Hampden Park in October last year.
McAllister was also called up for the home friendly international against Argentina the following month, but he did not feature in either game.
The left-back's solitary cap for Scotland came in a 4-1 win against Trinidad & Tobago at Hibernian's Easter Road ground in 2004.
Burley's side travel to group leaders Holland on March 28 before a home game against Iceland at Hampden on April 1.
