Bristol City will be without Nicky Maynard when they take on Nottingham Forest.
The striker was sent off in the 42nd minute of Saturday`s 3-2 defeat to Sheffield United and, thus, will be suspended for the rest of the season.
That sending off - for a two-footed tackle - was the first of Maynard`s career and the former Crewe man is devastated after a disappointing season, which he missed the majority of through a knee injury, ended in such circumstances.
"I feel disappointed in myself and upset for the fans. Hopefully the team can push on from Monday against Forest," he said.
"It didn't dawn on me until I was in the dressing room that my season was over. I kept thinking we had four games left and I'd be back for the last game but then I realised."
Meanwhile, Louis Carey, who has been sidelined since fracturing his skull against Scunthorpe at the end of February, may return to the fold.
