Lansdown: Top six within reach

The Robins, play-off finalists last season, host fellow top six contenders Preston when the league programme resumes on Saturday. Lansdown, who accepts that City's 2-1 defeat at QPR in their last outing has damaged their play-off hopes, told the Evening Post: "It is still on but it is more of a long shot than we would want it to be. We know what we have got to do - we have got to win five games to have a chance. "It makes the Preston game on Saturday very important. It isn't quite must-win but if we didn't win it we would be in a position where we couldn't afford not to win the last five. "We talk about cup finals but the remaining games really are. There is no doubt that Preston is our biggest game of the season so far." The Robins are currently ninth in the table and five points behind sixth-placed Cardiff.
